There's no much information about Julia's Solo Career. Certain is that Julia will not work with music Team (Sven, Troy, Domen and Steve) like Lena does. Her solo project won't be led by T.A. Music neither. Julia plans to record her solo album in Los Angeles.

During Russian Fashion Week on 17th October 2009, Julia was interviewed about her solo album.

Julia: All is good. I will soon be going to America to record my album. Both my husband and I. He helps me. Interviewer: Do you already have a favorite song from the album?
Julia: From my solo album? Yes, I have. But which one? I will not tell.
Interviewer: What language will be the album be in?
Julia: In Russian and English.

She describes her music genre as a "rock-sexy". Her menager is David Junk (ex-director of Universal Music Russia. He took part in achieving success by t.A.T.u. group). Her first song and music video is planned to be released Summer 2010. She compared t.A.T.u. to Pink Floyd group, whose members meet once a 3-4 years, do the album, make a tour and that's all.

In interview for "OK!" Magazine Julia gave some information about her solo career.

Why did you decide to start a solo-career?
- I just grew up from the girly image and felt that I can do everything on my own. I work without a producer, I already gathered a new crew, recorded few demos, soon I’m going to the US to make an album. It’ll be a powerful project in the genre of “sex-rock” – I made that up. (smiles). I plan to work for the western market, because in our country there’s simply no show-business. There are girls for buyers and boys for something incomprehensible. There’s no creativity in here. That’s way some “sparklings” are doing so well – blondes look-alikes with the same tan. “Singing panties”, how I call them. A lot of hypocrisy, very little creativity. That’s why we’re far from America a million years.

- I have all the abilities for that.
