Lena is starting her solo project with t.A.T.u.'s crew. Steve, Domen, Troy, and Sven will record with Lena her solo album. Person from t.A.T.u.'s managament describes it that way "It will not be t.A.T.u., but a touch of tatuish spirit will certainly be still intact." Lena will sing in english. The first single/video will be released in the second half of 2010. Album will be released at the end of 2009, or beginning of 2011. Lena's project is led by T.A. Music. First song, on which started work is "N.N". Steve and Domen composed a song "So not cool" - described as "rock ballad with monumental sound and mystical message".

First solo performance

On March, 31st Lena gave an acoustic performance, where she sang "Fly on the wall", "Craving", "Just a Day", and ballad, which she sang during rehearsal below.

Show in Troubadour

On Sunday, May 30. Lena performed in Troubadour club. Before the show she met with the fans. At official forum fans shared their feeling about the concert. Lena and Pridefest

Her show took place during Pride Fest - the most recognised LGBT festival. Her appearence was on June, 12th in Milwaukee (USA). At official site of the event was added an article about her! Her gig was the last and wasfinished with the fireworks.

Especially for the Pridefest Lena prepared special version of her song "Lost in dance".

Before the performance she recorded a video for the upcoming viewers of show.

  

Second Day of Festival Smashes Attendance Records Another night, another record-breaking attendance, and a new attitude. PrideFest continued into its second day with stellar performances by Lena Katina of electronica group t.A.T.u, pop opera singer Rose Jang, Oprah-favorite Charice, comedian Bruce Vilanch and the legendary Miss Patti LaBelle. Before the diva and divas-in-training took the stage, PrideFest's day was filled with educational, family, youth, and health activities. The LGBT History Project chronicles the community's heritage in an intimate tent just near the entrance of the festival. Families enjoyed magicians and animal showcases. Youth participated in fashion shows and an inter-generational dialogue. PrideFest hosted HIV testing in the Health and Wellness Area. Mayor Tom Barrett even paid a visit applauding PrideFest for another "lovely festival." As the cloudy day turned into a clear night, Lena Katina's high-octave voice filled the evening air. The beautiful siren sang solo ballads as well as hits from her days as one-half of the electronica/dance music group t.A.T.u. After a colorful fireworks display, Bruce Vilanch hosted the headline show likening the festival to "a gay cruise." The show also featured Rose Jang and Charice (who won acclaim and an enthusiastic thumbs up from Oprah Winfrey and Patti LaBelle ). Lena Katina even did the can-can backstage as Jang sang, "All That Jazz."
